MarbleMazes Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of MarbleMazes on Reddit through Devvit.

By using MarbleMazes, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

MarbleMazes is a community game experience in which players guide a marble through 3D labyrinth boards. It includes bundled boards, a board editor for community-created boards, community review and voting, leaderboards, and optional cosmetic marble skins.

2. Eligibility and Platform Terms

You must comply with Reddit Terms, Devvit Rules, Reddit's Earn Terms and Earn Policy, and all applicable laws while using MarbleMazes.

If these Terms conflict with mandatory Reddit platform requirements, platform requirements control.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Abuse, exploit, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service.
• Use the app to create unlawful, hateful, harassing, or policy-violating content.
• Attempt to bypass gameplay, scoring, moderation, safety, posting, or purchase controls.
• Use automation to spam actions, including posts/comments, board submissions, or leaderboard entries.
• Attempt to obtain paid items without payment, or sell, trade, or transfer items outside the app.

4. User Content and Community Boards

You are responsible for boards, board names, comments, and other content you provide.

You represent that you have the right to submit your content and that it does not violate law or policy.

Boards you publish may be shown to other players, credited to your username, featured in community collections, and included in review or voting posts.

5. Virtual Goods and Purchases

MarbleMazes offers optional cosmetic marble skins that can be acquired with Reddit gold through Reddit's payments system.

All purchases are processed by Reddit. We do not collect, see, or store your payment details, and we will never ask you to pay us outside of Reddit.

Purchased skins are cosmetic. They change how your marble looks and do not affect physics, scoring, difficulty, or any competitive outcome. No board, feature, or gameplay mode is locked behind a purchase, and the game is fully playable without spending anything.

The price of each item is shown in gold in the app before you confirm a purchase.

Items are licensed to your Reddit account for use inside MarbleMazes. They are not property, carry no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for money, cryptocurrency, or other assets.

6. Refunds

Purchases of gold and purchases made with gold are handled by Reddit under Reddit's own purchase, gold, and refund policies. Refund requests should be directed to Reddit support.

Where Reddit issues a refund for an item, the corresponding item is removed from your account in the app.

7. Availability of Purchased Items

Items described in the app as permanent remain available to your Reddit account for as long as MarbleMazes is available on Reddit and installed in a community where you play.

We may adjust the visual presentation of items, change prices, or stop offering an item for sale. A later change to an item's price or availability does not entitle you to a refund of a completed purchase.

If MarbleMazes is discontinued or removed from the platform, access to purchased items ends with it. Section 6 governs refunds in that case.

8. User-Action Posting/Commenting

When user-account posting/commenting features are available, they are intended to run only from explicit manual actions. Gameplay access is not conditioned on posting or commenting.

9. Moderation and Enforcement

App maintainers and subreddit moderators may limit or remove access, boards, or scores to protect users, communities, or platform integrity.

Content or access may be restricted for policy violations, abuse, or security reasons.

10. Intellectual Property

The MarbleMazes code, systems, and original assets are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain rights in content you provide, including boards you create, subject to Reddit platform licensing and applicable law. By publishing a board you allow it to be stored, displayed, and played inside MarbleMazes.

11. Disclaimers

MarbleMazes is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, maintainers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the value of the purchases you made in the app in the twelve months before the claim arose.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict of law principles, and any dispute arising from them shall be brought before the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium.

Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of your country of residence.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated terms are effective when published on this page.
